For Halloween weekend we ventured down to Jacksonville, Florida for the Georgia vs. Florida game. We rented a beach house on Amelia Island with the Hoke’s and the Smith’s from Thursday thru Sunday. Weather wise, the weekend was fabulous, football wise, not so much. On Thursday we decided to take a detour through Savannah to have lunch on River Street. Jon has never been to Savannah and with the weather as perfect as it was we felt the need to stop for a Wet Willie! On Friday the boys went to play golf while the girls hung out at the beach. Saturday was filled with game day activities (tailgating, lots of food, etc). As an added bonus we got to see Allison and Trey since Trey currently lives in Jacksonville. They recently set the date for their wedding – August 21, 2010! YAY!!
